Migraine Weather

NaPoWriMo 2021· Poetry· Prompt Writing

7 Apr

The
day
ahead
will cool down
significantly
and I know that my head will hurt.

But even so I welcome spring
and its migraine days
because that
means I’m
still
here.

This was written as part of National Poetry Writing Month 2021, sparked by the NaPoWriMo prompt for April 7 to write a poem with a particular structure; I chose to use the “Fib” structure, which is based off of the Fibonacci sequence.
